OUR FACILITY

Eyes! On Broadway invests in sophisticated equipment to provide you with the most advanced diagnostic tools.

Non-Mydriatic Retinal Fundus Camera

Takes a digital image of the inside of your eyes.

Many correctable eye issues often go undetected. Our non-mydriatic retinal fundus camera permits our optometric physicians to look deep inside your eyes, all the way to your retina and optic nerve, verify eye health, document annual changes, and track abnormalities. It’s fast, easy, painless, and reliable for screening ophthalmic disorders, and doesn’t require dilation. Best of all, it allows us to keep an ongoing digital timeline of your retinal and optic nerve scans so we can compare and diagnose even the smallest changes within the eye.

Your doctor will review these images with you on a large, high-definition computer monitor and point to specific details that you can see and understand. You will see your optic nerve, how it changes over time, compare your previous photographs to your current ones, and better understand the anatomy of your eyes.

Smartcentration Machine

Precise measurements to ensure a precise fit.

This unique computerized camera accurately measures your glasses by combining your personal prescription with digital photography and digital measurement software to create precise placement of your lenses into any frame. In addition, this machine allows you to compare your lens thickness in any lens material available. It can also simulate different lens coatings so you will actually experience what it’s like to wear polarized lenses or anti-reflective lenses.

Eyes! On Broadway was one of the first businesses in the United States to recognize the benefits of this new technology, and now, three years later, we are still among only a handful of offices to actually own and use this machine.

Our Laboratory

With so many variables influencing the production of each pair of eyeglasses today, the only way to control our quality is to do as much as we can on-site. That’s why we have a dedicated Lab Technician in our office to manage our own Digital Patternless Lens Edging Facility.
