Stumptown LepreCon 2018: "Lucky Charms"

Pub crawls abound around Portland with myriad microbreweries that make their home here. That said, some stand out above others...and this is the case with the annual Stumptown LepreCon drinking/walking 21 and over event set for Sat, March 17, 2018 from 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM PDT.

This great, costume-based event calls for attendees to don anything creative for entry. More than just a green hat for St. Patties Day, event planners are asking for folks to get wild and "GET GREEN, GOLD or RAINBOW! Something Blinky and Illuminated! Don't be a DARK-WAD! Get LIT, Don't Get Hit! Anything St. Paddy's Day will get you in!" (descrx. courtesy: Stumptown LepreCon 2018). That said, some kind of costume is indeed required for entry, along with valid ID. Event planners also note that a portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the Portland Police Sunshine Division, Inc. 

Don't Forget These Essentials

This list of necessaries is courtesy of the event planners for Stumptown LepreCon 2018:

- Bring Cash to pay your tab - Don't use credit cards.
- Pace yourself - drink responsibly - don't drink and drive!
- Walk between STOPS it's only a couple of blocks.
- OBEY ALL TRAFFIC LAWS - Stay on the sidewalk.
- Keep an eye on your drink - don't set it down.
- Don't take drinks from anyone you don't know or just met. 
- Wear comfortable shoes and PACK LITE! Don't bring anything you have to set down.

Once again, courtesy of the event planners for Stumptown LepreCon 2018, here is the walking stops and venue lineup: 

1:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Ankeny Alley - West End - Early Check-in and Wristband pickup

Kells Irish Festival - in before 3:00PM - We move out at 4:00 PM.

4:15 - 6:00 PM - Rialto/Jack London's & Kelly's Olympian

6:00 - 7:00 PM - Ankey Alley West End - Fuse, Valentine's, District

7:00 - 8:00 PM - Ankeny Alley East End- District, Dan & Louis, Bar XV

8:00 - 10:00 PM - After Party - TBD (these venues will Honor your LepreCon wristband for free cover until 9:00 or 10:00PM)

Regarding photos: Whether you are taking some, or some are being taken of you (yes, many will be capturing the craziness)...read the photo policy on the event site.

You can buy advance tickets to this event and I highly encourage this. The last thing you want is to trick out your amazing St. Paddies outfit and show up, with bells on, only to be denied entry.
