In 1980, it was discovered that an ultraviolet excimer laser could etch living tissue with precision and no thermal damage to the surrounding area. This process, when used in restoring perfect vision, is known as LASIK, or Laser eye surgery.
PRE AND POST-OPERATIVE CARE
Even though Lasik has now become routine, the surgery is still serious and many people do not qualify. We perform Pre-Lasik Examinations and determine if you are a good Lasik candidate. Then, we can refer you to a trusted surgeon, help set up your surgical appointment, and answer any questions you may have.
