An Urban Scavenger Hunt in PDX

So with summer already peaking and folks starting to talk about the coming Fall, many of us are still looking for classic, summer-like activities to keep it rolling. I mean, "Who needs the rain just yet??" Well, not me, that's for sure, so why not some more outside activities? How about a really fun scavenger hunt that, even for the most avid Portlander, holds some unique surprises? Check out Urban Adventure Quest’s Amazing Scavenger Hunt Adventure, which can be downloaded and done on your own timetable via smartphone app. 

If you're a fan of The Amazing Race (auditions for that coming up on Sept. 8 at Spirit Mtn. Casino BTW...) and you like a challenge, then this particular adventure quest may be just for you. That said, this particular scavenger hunt has a very urban twist. Instead of trekking across vast landscapes against the clock, you'll go at your own pace, discovering some of Portland's coolest features. Think of this as a 2-3 mile walking tour of downtown Portland that has many different challenging games to complete along the way. 

Not really for very young kids, this scavenger hunt will be great for those around 7-8 yrs. and older. Again, there's a good bit of walking. Further, you may just want to detour and duck into one of the many microbreweries or wine bars you'll pass along the way. So, keeping your party to 21 and over could be a fun twist. Do some scavenger hunt, grab a cocktail, do a bit more... Reminds me a little of a pub crawl with brainteasing games.
