McCormick & Schmick’s Harborside - Also a long-established seafood powerhosue, this locale serves up a great Thanksgiving dinner that should only be missed if you have a great family option. Enjoy for only $29.50. Click for details.
Andina - And now for my personal favorite Peruvian tapas joint…Andina. From Open Table: “Andina is celebrating Thanksgiving with a special three-course prix fixe menu $68 Plus 20% gratuity per Adult featuring Pavo Colonial a Peruvian inspired twist on the traditional holiday turkey. It will also be served alongside many of our signature dishes. Seatings 1 pm and continue until 8:00 pm.” Click here for details.
Bluehour - Always a great place for tremendous cuisine, Bluehour doesn’t disappoint with its take on Thanksgiving dinner. Featuring lighter fare options, along with traditionally-decadent items like mashed potatoes and gravy, you can’t go wrong here. There’s no set fee for this dinner as it will depend on what you order (although I did see one reference stating it was $50/person)…but prepare to be happy, or should I say, “thankful.” Click here for details.
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse - Portland - So it’s pretty tough to go to a Ruth’s Chris and not plunk down for a filet mignon (at least for me). But that said, it is rumored that their take on Thanksgiving is legendary. Sooo…this may be a good plan if you’re looking for something more traditional at your favorite steakhouse. A 3-course Thanksgiving meal is the plan here, with a kid’s thanksgiving menu also available. Adult pricing is $41.95. Click here for details.
23 Hoyt - Looking for a decadent Thanksgiving meal sure to impress all in attendance? Plus, no dirty dishes or clean-up? 23 Hoyt guarantees to deliver on all and leave you stuffed, happy and feeling like you might have had the best meal in your life (well, at least according to one review I read ;). No price given for this meal, which I assume means it’s all about what you order. Click here for details.
Black Angus Steakhouse - Vancouver - O.K. Maybe you live up in the ‘Couv? Or maybe you just want to eat this most-awesome-of-meals north of the city for any number of reasons? Well, Black Angus Steakhouse can get you and yours into a wonderful Thanksgiving meal that will leave all satisfied and returning for their non-holiday fare. Yep, the steaks here are as good as anywhere. And for Thanksgiving, the pricing is really good…$21.99 for adults and only $9.99 for kids. Click here for details.
Huber’s - Now most folks know that Huber’s is famous for its Spanish coffee drinks, but if you’ve had a real meal there you also know that any night of the week you can also get a homecooked, Thanksgiving-style meal. And, well, I’ll admit that, thanks to Huber’s, I personally enjoy “Thanksgiving” at least 4x per year ;). Am I Thankful? You bet! Plus…since they do cook so many mashed potatoes, so much turkey and gravy, well, they TRULY know what they are doing. One might consider Huber’s the most vastly experienced Thanksgiving location…and I’m here to say disappointed you will not be! Click here for details.
Enjoy!!!
