Barbecue! Barbecue! Miss Delta's Barbecue!
So Barbecue can be quite the sensitive topic. With many transplants hailing from barbecue hotspots such as Austin, Tx., New Orleans, LA. and the like, well, we too take barbecue quite seriously. And with that in mind I make a recommendation today: Miss Delta’s Barbecue. Even if you were born and raised in Biloxi, you will come away both surprised and satisfied with brunch, lunch or dinner at this instantly classic place.
Perhaps you’ve already heard the giant buzz about Miss Delta’s, with its brand new location at 2226 Ne Broadway Portland, Oregon 97232? Well, this spot is more than just a great place to get a pulled pork sandwich, brisket and corn bread. To be sure, Miss Delta’s takes your barbecue experience far beyond average and into the realm of (for lack of a better term) culinary nirvana. And I have to admit…without naming names…prior to my recent lunch at Miss Delta’s, I thought I knew the best place in PDX to get this stuff. Well, I was wrong…and I stand corrected. Miss Delta’s is the spot.
