Full Moon Snowshoe

So the title really says it all..."Full Moon Snowshoe." Coming up on both April 1 and April 29th there will be complimentary full moon snowshoeing events held up at Timberline Lodge. And let's just say this: while anyone can conceivably gear-up and snowshoe in time with the full moon, there's something magical about doing it with an enthusiastic group and a guide that knows the perfect meadows and forests around the lodge. It's a magical experience to say the least. 

Here are some additional details, courtesy of Timberline Lodge: 

+ April 1 at 9pm. Meet in the lower lobby at 8:30pm.

+ April 29 at 8pm. Meet in the lower lobby at 7:30pm.

+ Make it a celebration and stay the night! A hotel room package is $275 plus tax and includes a hotel room for two and snowshoes for two. BOOK NOW

+ The full moon snowshoe tour will proceed snow, rain or shine. The group will meet in the Lower Lobby of Timberline Lodge by the USFS Desk ½ hour prior to start time. The guided 3/4 mile full moon snowshoe tour is complimentary – please bring snowshoes or rent them from us. Our Wy’East Rental Shop opens at 9am and closes at 4pm daily.

+ If you are an overnight guest with the snowshoe package you may pick up your snowshoes at the front desk. Additional snowshoes may be rented at $20 per pair.

+ If you ARE NOT an overnight guest with the snowshoe package, please bring your own snowshoes. Or, you must arrive by 3:30 pm in order to rent them from our Rental Shop, which closes at 4pm. We are not able to accept email requests for snowshoe rentals. Remember, if you are renting snowshoes to wear appropriate clothing and your own boots.
