Yarn, Yarn, Yarn...Twisted for Days!
Having grown up with a mother that sewed custom dresses and knitted (sometimes) until 3 o’clock in the morning, I am quite familiar with the sights, sounds and (yes) smells of yarn, fabric and the like. The steady, rhythmic sound of the sewing machine still makes me sleepy some 40+ years later. So when I became aware of Twisted, an ultra-cool yarn shop that simply re-defines what a yarn shop should be, well, I knew it deserved some ink.
Visiting Twisted is a delight. The shop features just about anything you could possibly ever need or imagine for knitting, crochet, embroidery, needle felting, weaving, macrame and more. Just check out all the brands they carry! Their staff picks are also cool…with some great features and values. Further, their event schedule is fantastic with so many opportunities to learn and be inspired. Classes, knit-a-longs and trunk shows really bring in a sense of community and learning, as well as chances to purchase wonderful, hand-crafted goods.

REGULAR HOURS
MONDAY - THURSDAY 10AM - 7PM
FRIDAY - SUNDAY 10AM - 5PM
HOLIDAY HOURS: Closed Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, & Christmas Day. Closing early at 3pm Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, & the day before the Rose City Yarn Crawl (the Wednesday before the first Thursday in March each year). We also open at noon New Year’s Day.
Other exceptions from our regular hours are possible for special events, emergencies, and inclement weather. When applicable those exceptions will be posted here and on our voicemail to the best of our ability.
