Privately Imbibe in Style and Class

When it comes to throwing a party, or having an important event, the opportunity to responsibly and stylishly imbibe should not be overlooked. Take the iconic birthday party that was thrown for me a couple weeks back. We brought in a great taco bar from Bajio Mexican Grill (tasty), live music, a ton of adult-style games and lights…but the real kicker? A retro 60’s bar service sporting craft cocktails and locally brewed beer. To say the entire crowd and I were impressed would be a true understatement. Bottoms Up Bar and Events literally made the night with an incredible array of custom cocktails built just for that night. Their professional staff of two were as amazing as the drinks, busy not only keeping the line moving fast, but helping with everything from last minute decorations to clearing food plates. 5-stars all the way across.

One of the favorite parts of my job is customizing drinks based on themes, making up the drink menu in a completely unique way. It’s much like rise of coutoure catering. People enjoy customized things and getting to put our own spin and signature on things with the input of who we will be serving is so much fun.” - Owner and Quintessential Cocktail Crafter, Julie Rosequist

Not Your Run of the Mill Drinks

Owner and founder Julie Rosequist is a gem. When you book Bottoms Up you deal directly with her and she leaves no stone un-turned to make you comfortable, excited and tailored to. When we first spoke I was thinking, “Gin and tonics, screwdrivers, etc…” Unbeknownst to me I was in for much more of a treat. In stark contrast to the run-of-the-mill, Julie asked me a lot of questions about my expected crowd, right down to musical preferences. What she came up with was an entirely custom menu of one-of-a-kind craft cocktail creations that had the whole room buzzing (in more ways than one ;). We selected a few old classics to fill things out, like an Old Fashioned, but overall, it was all gorgeously tailored.

I can’t say enough about the staff of Bottoms Up. Excellent, professional service, yet very personal at the same time. Here you can see the 1960’s dresser fashioned into a bar top that they serve from, along with some chalk menus done at events prev…

Friendly, Professional Staff and Liability

With this being a big party, I took out a one night liability insurance policy just in case. And when I spoke with the insurance agent about the event, they were immediately comfortable knowing that I’d hired such a professional crew to handle the alcohol (and non-alcoholic) end of things. To think I considered asking a few friends to mix and serve drinks instead? Well, dodged that bullet. Sure it would have still been fun…but Bottoms Up truly elevated the evening. The number of compliments I heard (and witnessed) regarding their friendliness, professionalism and…quite importantly…the taste of their craft cocktails leaves nothing but a fantastic impression. And just knowing that these pros had a keen eye out for anyone being over-served, well, that made me rest a heck of a lot easier.
