PDX's Third Rail to Live Screen No Man's Land from London

For all of you theatre fans, and even those of you that don't normally "go to the theatre," a real treat awaits just around the corner. Beginning December 22nd, at Portland's bastion of culture, Third Rail, a live screen showing of Harold Pinter's classic No Man's Land will begin showing. Slated for viewers on the evenings of Dec 22, Jan 3, and Jan 4, 2017, this great performance will be live-casted from London's historic Wyndham's Theatre. Part of Third Rail's new commitment to present Hi-Definition screenings via the National Theatre of London's decision to broadcast the best of British Theatre to cinemas across the UK and world, this carnation stars Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart. That's the same Patrick Stewart we know well from Star Trek...so perhaps Portland's very many Trekkies can find an additional reason to go? Well, there's no sci fi here...but boy does Patrick shine. Along with the rest of the cast, this comedy drama is just oh so sweet and perfect for a holiday night out! 

Third Rail continues to develop its Hi-Def programming by screening the best of London's theatre beyond the National Theatre stage, including last month's broadcast of Almeida Theatre Live's Richard III, and past screenings of Branagh Theatre Live productions. Third Rail offers an NT Live Punchcard for purchase, which gives patrons discounted access to all Hi-Def programming throughout the season.

So, unless you're planning a trip to the land of tea, heady beer and fried fish in the next couple weeks, be sure to catch what will be a truly memorable stage performance at Portland's Third Rail.
